I've lived in a home directly across from power house park for 20 years. I've seen it go through many changes and phases. My 3 boys also grew up directly across the street as I bought a home on another road directly across from the park still. My point being here is that I'm kinda disappointed in the current state. Hamilton is full of no places for kids to go and really stay and play. They used to have swings, benches, tree's, and baseball field. Yeah, they redid the basketball area, and the tennis court is now for pickle ball. But guess what? Kids under the age of like 10 really have nothing to play with or do as the climbing area is made for older kids. The pickle ball is always full of adults. This park would be a fantastic place for a splash pad with ample parking and build space. Also, make a smaller area for younger kids to play. The trees have been mowed down by kids or died. Put swings back and places for people to sit. Maybe have more events at the Bob Gentry park besides a few weeks in the summer. As close to Spooky Nook as this is i would thonk someone would invest in this big area next to the river. There is no real reason or plus to come to this park anymore being ther

What a beautiful facility to play pickleball! Eight courts, all empty today.

Went to the park to try out the new pickleball courts. Even though I'm a novice, they are nicer than what I'm used to.
